Warm and cozy, The Chalet Blanket is designed with alternating stitch combinations to create a blanket with a unique texture.

Pattern Details
I used a worsted weight #4 yarn and an H size 5mm crochet hook for this pattern, though any yarn and appropriate hook size will work. For the blanket in the picture, I used a starting chain of 176, and used approximate 2752 yards. Color changes were made on Row 4 of the pattern, and the border was done with the same stitch combination from Row 4. It fits on a twin bed from the bottom of the pillow to the foot of the bed.
This blanket pattern is worked from the bottom up and uses a 9 row repeat to create the overall look.
Blanket size is crocheters choice as the beginning chain is worked in multiples of 3, and the blanket is finished when it reaches the desired length.
Gauge is 4" =12 Rows, and 4" = 17 stitches. I would rate this pattern Easy in pattern difficulty.
All the stitches used are basic crochet stitches, though skipping some stitches, slip stitching, and creating cluster stitches is required. A link for a YouTube tutorial for a cluster stitch is included in the pattern.
