Pattern Details I used a worsted weight #4 yarn and an H size 5mm crochet hook for this pattern, though any yarn and appropriate hook size will work. For the blanket in the picture, I used a starting chain of 176, and used approximate 2752 yards. Color changes were made on Row 4 of the pattern, and the border was done with the same stitch combination

I came up with the Covington Hat while I was learning a new stitch and decided I wanted to pair it with another of my favourite stitch combinations to create a hat with alternat
